instead of disturbing him, hawke nudges ser snuffles to pad forward to fufill his duty as on site emergency cuddler. since it's probably dark enough (and, as a rogue she's sneaky enough) it's not too difficult to keep herself hidden to let rondo have a few moments to himself before announcing her presence. ]
it's. fine. it's fine! it's not fine. he seems barely cognizant when ser snuffles nudges at him, at first -- then, he hiccups, and makes a tiny noise that sounds like it could be a sort of mirthless, appreciative laugh, and sinks to the ground to just pet him. yeah, he. he probably needs a few moments. he needs a lot of moments. ]
ser snuffles might be the scariest doggo on the block but he still gives perfectly slobbery dog kisses to heal all wounds. he's yet to figure out how to transfer that to heart wounds but by the doggy maker themselves, he's gonna do his best ]
