Snufflepuss-dono! [ what a strange name! but he nods at the creature nonetheless. ] I'm glad you have a friend here with you. But this means you're unarmed?
[ hawke like the rest of the game!! snuffles at least gives a bork of a greeting. hewwo tall man ]
It seems as if they thought I was armed enough without them. [ her guns r 2 powerful etc ] Or, they simply thought Ser Snuffles here would be plenty enough of one.
[ damb iwa, get gud. but she also thinks snufflepuss-dono, whatever that means sounds hysterical so please keep doing it and they'll get back to the rest later ]
For one, I certainly would have been far grouchier without him. The other being it's much easier to introduce oneself when an excited dog is asking for attention.
[ she's in the cabin muttering dire things about tin hats and bloody magic nonsense because that's when you do when you've got no bloody control over what poor person is going to get the next round of memory out of her and so far, none of them have been good. sometimes you're very well aware everything has been often for quite some time now but maker's bloody breath it sure is something to see the greatest hits of it.
As much as the title is one of the highest honors you could probably get as a civilian it does, however, come with the unwanted benefit of suddenly being the one everyone comes to for their problems. It's hard to continue doing what you do when all of a sudden everyone wants your strength to do all sorts of nonsensical tasks. I've probably rescued more kittens than I have defended the city from your average monster attack, honestly.

Do you have fun with decisions they don't approve of?

You fought well, Marian-dono. [ defending her city and all. ] Is there a problem with being named "champion," though? Weren't they showing respect?
