Why are we crowded in a cabin when there was this here?
It's a maker blessed miracle. [ meanwhile being a fantasy ye olde, she's going to poke everything because one does not stop looking for treasure even when you've been kidnapped into a weird situation
Do you think we'd be able to...ah, borrow any of this?
At least it's far more obvious who's at it again that way. It's always a pain when half the problem is figuring out who's gotten into a snit this time; the blood mages, the darkspawn, or yet another crazed templar who's taken too much red lyrium.
[ you're all crazy but please, think of the ones who have to clean up after you!! gosh!!!! ]
That said, simply vanishing into the aether certainly seems a much kinder option than anything else. [ the bar is so low it's on the floor ]
I can't say people have been the most creative with their choices. Though I suppose it's much easier to keep track of that way. You know exactly what someone is yelling about if they're going 'Oh no, it's blood magic yet again!'
It uses a person's blood to fuel the mage's magics, giving a boost most would shy away from. It's seen as forbidden, given it tends to be far more destructive and dangerous in the wrong hands. Corruption.. Mind Control.. some of the most disgusting things I've seen a person come up with.
But... I've also seen it used for healing. Helping others in ways regular magic couldn't even come close to. So like with all magics its nature depends on the person wielding it.

I don't see why not. [ we can use what's here...!!! we can't steal it back to the village, but ashlyn doesn't know that. ]

Somehow, I doubt their residents will miss it very much.

[ it's very likely everyone is already a pile of sacrifice ]
It's remarkably well kept despite that but frankly, that's even more odd in itself.

I've yet to see any hints of it, but the possibility is still there.

One too many blood circles later and now they've all learned to clean up after themselves. Who'd thought piles of remains would be the better option?

[ BUT YEAH, BEING SACRIFICED IS PROBABLY MORE REALISTIC ]
