It was the same for us at the pyre. Yuffie was cooking some fish she caught, and the rest of us were just talking when we realized the fog closed in. It's like there wasn't even a chance to warn us tha something was going to happen.
Almost as it was planned. I'm positive the fog isn't natural as it is, but for everyone to be sealed in at roughly the same time? I doubt any of this was a coincidence.
It's more than what we knew originally, so we can at least use that to try and understand what to do next. If the fog can be controlled that way, who knows what else it can do?
We tried using a torch to see through the fog while we were at the pyre and it really didn't help. [so yes, agreed.] Maybe someone has a power that can provide a brighter light? Or even one that can see through the fog at all.
As much as I don't like it, this may be something we just have to wait on. Like giving it enough time that the answers are easier to give without causing more problems.
Right? I mean we apparently fell out of the sky and might solve their problem via sacrifice. [:unamused:] But then again we've seen some things come through without having to do much. Like our boxes from the swamp. Maybe something else will happen like that for us.

Maker, no. Some are simply in for the money and power. Some believe what they preach and want to convert everyone. Then there's the bit who'll deny to their dying breath they're not a cult entirely but honestly, they're not fooling anyone.

Lucky for me, most of them didn't operate within Kirkwall but you do often hear about it through the ports gossip chain. Like old maids, some of them.
Better to know about them than experience them firsthand without an idea. [just a mild thought.] But still...most of them still implies some of them are within Kirkwall.
